Change c section date?

Hi ladies I was wondering if any of you were able to change your c section date? My mom unexpectedly passed away Friday night and her awake and funeral will be this upcoming Thursday and Friday and my c section is scheduled for Thursday and I want to call Monday to see if I can change the date so I can attend the awake and funeral and request a date the week after, has anyone ever done that and was granted the request?
