Is there a way to fix this ?

This is from 2 breasts and a 20 minute pump. This is the most I’ve had from my left breast in days. Sometimes I get nothing. Baby sleeps for about 12 hours at night so I pump once about 6am for 20 minutes. I use a spectra s2. Is this normal?

Your nipples are probably different sizes and might require two different size flanges. Make sure you measure both so you get the right fit!

The last time this happened to me, one of my breasts was clogged. Does your left breast feel clogged? Have you tried compressions while pumping? Otherwise I’ve always noticed one pumps more than the other though I’ve personally never had it this different before.

I think it’s common to have a “slacker” boob at times, especially if baby ever had a preference for nursing (sometimes a tight neck, etc can lead them to only wanting one side, and then that side takes over). I have read your body produces most of its milk between 2-4 AM, so as sucky as it is (no pun intended), maybe try pumping during that time to see if it can kick your supply back into action? You can also try and power pump on that side! If you’re also nursing, you can always offer that side first as well to maybe send a signal to your body to produce on that side. Good luck!

My right boob will produce anywhere from 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours while my left boob only produces 1 ounce in that time. It was like that for my first baby too
