Protect baby toes

Question

My lo is 11 months old and still army crawling. He gets a blister consistently on his big toe on his right foot. I'm constantly putting his socks back on. Tried a band-aid a couple days, but it came off with his sock. Is there a better way to protect his toe???

Sock shoes? Kids can't take them off and they're pretty flexible.

Does he regular crawl at all yet? I’m asking because I’m a pediatric therapist and at first I was going to mention that as much barefoot time as possible is actually better developmentally than socks and the socks sliding around could also be bringing out the blisters (unless of course it’s too cold out) and that baby shoes actually hinder walking and arch development so to only use them outside. Based on his age you can also start to focus on progression to real crawling and pulling to stand instead of trying to prevent the blister so much. If he stops army crawling soon the problem will resolve itself
