Is this odd

This guy left an email for me asking if he can buy a video from me using my PayPal. With my PayPal it has my private name on it so I don’t trust it. I felt it was a bit off because he said he couldn’t but my video from the website itself. I asked why he couldn’t and he wouldn’t tell me.
