I’m 24 is 7 a high number? I’ve been feeling slightly insecure about this.. I wanted my last to be number 7 but I gave it up to someone I wasn’t fully into, I’m regretting it a little but I also don’t want to beat myself up about it.

So the thing is, that number is nobody’s business. If it makes you feel insecure you may want to figure out why that is. But in all honesty, I’ve never discussed with anyone that I’ve dated, including my husband how many previous sexual partners we have had. Because it’s the past and really does not matter.

Girl I had 10 by the time I was 20, you’re fine. I feel no shame for my body count and my husband never cared either and mine is higher than his. Body count in no way means anything about you as a person, just be safe and have fun until you find someone to settle down with.

Body counts don’t matter and it is just a misogynistic constraint that is placed on women. Men are praised for high numbers while women are referred to as hoes…misogynistic. You can sleep with 1 person and catch an incurable std while the next woman has 70 “bodies” with no stds. None of that matters as long as you’re being safe. I don’t even have a high body count but if someone asked me it would be an instant turn off and I would stop talking to them because it means literally nothing. Personally, I rather see negative test results before I sit there and ask someone to count off and list every sexual encounter they’ve had.

Who cares what your number is? It's not important. It is so irrelevant. Nobody needs to even keep track of the amount of people they sleep with. Are you a promiscuous person Great! Are you not a promiscuous person that is also great! Who cares ever about how many people you've slept with that doesn't change your worth as a human. If this is in regards to a partner being curious, if they think that your value is determined by how many people you've slept with... They are not a valuable person.

Oh honey no. 7 is not high at all. At 19 I went from 1 to 6. But I’m engaged now and my s/o got 2. My sister that is 25 is near triple digits so I don’t feel bad tho 😂

Don’t listen to people on the internet telling you to sleep with whoever, whenever, and not feel bad about it. Listen to your OWN morals and values. If it feels wrong for YOU, it’s wrong for you. Sex, no matter how hard the world tries to make it seem casual, is a scared act between two people. Energies are exchanged, and feelings are involved. It is literally a joining of two people, into one, for that moment in time. Sounds to me like your morals are telling you casual sex isn’t right for you. Listen to your heart.
