Advice for getting to the hospital

Hi everyone! I'm going to be 30 weeks in a couple days and have been thinking alot about how I'm getting to the hospital safely. My husband and I live about 25 minutes from the hospital...that in itself isnt too concerning. I'm worried because my husband works about 30 minutes from home during the week and on weekends, he sees his son which is about 45 minutes away from our home.

Im nervous that regardless of whether he is at work or with his son, hes so far away from our house and then to get to the hospital, is another 25 minutes from wherever he was.

I'm hoping birth will take a long time for this reason but labor is unpredictable and I feel like I need a solid plan in place. Also, my sister and mom both had pretty fast labors and I'm worried what will happen if my water just breaks and I'm alone.

I know I could always call an ambulance and I will if I have to but I'm really hoping this can be a calm birth in the beginning so I dont stress myself out too much, as I'm hoping to give birth naturally. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Thanks in advance for any advice!
