Flovent

Hi moms. My son is two and this past week was his second time in the icu due to restricted breathing with a virus. They diagnosed him with “viral induced asthma” and put him on Flovent twice a day until March. I’m so worried about the side effects of this. I’ve heard it can suppress the immune system and in some cases make illness even worse. Does anybody have any experience with this? Any insight/advice greatly appreciated. Terribly worried for my baby boy. :(
