He's required to have quiet time in his room every day for the same period his sister naps. Since days he sleeps, some days he just hangs out.

My stepson at 3 always had a nap... If he didn't he was just a nightmare come supper... But he was hard to put down sometimes so my husband and I usually had to lay down too and take a nap for him to take one... Which honestly, I didn't always hate especially when I was working at a restaurant supper shifts. Lol

At daycare he does but not at home. It wasn’t a battle we wanted to fight anymore.
