Is this a friend zone?

I’ve been having convos with that guy for a minute. He’ll send me detailed descriptions in response to questions, tells me about his interest in details, sends me things he interested in for my opinion, and sends me a lot of tiktoks including tiktoks about what I would choose regarding options showing places to relax, dinner, etc. I’m in another city majority of the time and we haven’t met in person yet but he’s a city mutual. Today I made dinner and he responded yummy. I said my family has been asking me when I was going to make it and in response he says “I’m family” indicating he wants a plate. Is this a friend zone or just a funny way of saying he wants some food? If friend zone vote yes, if not vote no. Also feel free to comment your opinion :)
