Baby walker?

Question

My baby is 12 weeks old so she can’t walk yet or sit up on her own but she’s been getting really fussy and angry because she likes to try to sit up and wants to move around and can’t yet. Is there anything I can get that will let her be able to move around a bit more? Should I just wait it out until she’s older? I just feel bad since she’s been getting so frustrated.

No products. Walkers and containers are terrible for overall development. Try more tummy time!

It is very bad for her posture to prop her up like this. It will cause too much strain on her Neck. Her head is too heavy too. She needs to build her back muscles and neck muscles properly first. No way! It isn’t okay at all. She is unhappy because she may need to be burped or something not because she wants to walk around at an age where she doesn’t even know where her hands are yet.

No, the fussy wanting of more is what will motivate her to learn how to roll, sit, crawl etc. Seats like the Bumbo are bad for babies development as they lock in the hips before the core is ready/strong enough. Same for walkers. The only walkers my pediatrician is ok with are the push kind when baby can already stand up. Babies gain strength neck down for a reason. All things in time. My 6.5 month old just learned to sit, which is par for regular development and was a gradual process that started with lots of tummy time.
