What does letdown feel like?

When I’m feeding my 1 month old, I can’t feel my letdown, but if it happens when I’m not nursing her, it almost hurts a bit. It’s not super painful or anything, but it feels like sudden engorgement and burning on my breasts and nipples. Is this normal??

I have a 6 week old & I recently started feeling it. Feels kinda like what you’re describing a slight burning sensation or like needles sticking in your breast.. FUN.

I think I might be crazy, but....
It almost felt like pebbles shifting in my breasts....the one side to let the milk flow and the other to not let it flow yet. I get that this sounds ds ridiculous, but it is the best way I can describe it.
