Baby position with Doppler?
My baby has been breech a couple of weeks (currently 34w), head pretty firmly in ribs and was confirmed by a growth scan and palpation the following week with my midwife.
The movements have changed in that I’m getting a lot of strong movement up in my ribs since yesterday and I noticed the hiccups felt low.
I tried today to see if I could work out which way baby might be with my Doppler - I found the heartbeat about an inch below my belly button on the right hand side but the whooshy placenta/cord noise was slightly higher but closer to the front than the heartbeat which sounded further behind.
Baby’s placenta I know is on my left, so based on this could it maybe be head downwards but possibly back to back? Otherwise the heartbeat would have been more prominent?
