I actually requested it cause I wanted to know if she was head down lol doc says she sure is and has a “good-sized head” which makes me nervous cause her big sister about tore me a new one (literally) with that big ol head lmao

I allowed it at 36 weeks since I was having intense pressure down there and lots of mucus! Was already 1.5 cm dilated, effaced 40%, and -3 station. I’ll be almost 38 weeks at next appointment and I’m just curious if I’ve changed at all so I’ll have them check!

I'm a first time mom, can I politely ask why anyone would decline the cervix check? I'm not sure what harm could come from it.
