Did you regret not taking maternity photos?

Question

For those of you who didnt take any maternity photos with your first, did you end up regretting it?
I'm 29 weeks. I'm debating on weather I should take any. I don't feel like I look my best and I'm worried they wont even come out good. not sure if I should invest the money and time. My husband doesn't mind either way as he hates having his picture taken anyway lol

I never took any and don’t regret it. We took family photos when babe turned 6 months and that was a blast!

I’m 37 weeks and haven’t taken any maternity pictures, I kind of want to but my boyfriend could care either way but we really don’t have the time to and now time is ticking so we probably won’t.

You can always just have a friend or your partner take a few shots of you. Phone cameras are so good these days if you don't want to spend the money on photographer. A few in front of a window so you just see your silhouette would be pretty! And if they turn out horrible then there's no loss 😋

2 babies no maternity photos. Don't regret it at all. I personally hate staged photos though. My favorite pregnancy pictures are ones that were taken that I didn't even know about when I was pregnant. A Xmas party with me talking to my grandma and my hand on my belly without me even realizing it. My 2nd pregnancy I have one of my toddler napping on my lap with her hand on my belly and I love it. No flow dress in a field or whatever would mean more to me then real life. I know a lot of women who have done them and loved it but I'd rather have photos capturing real moments than staged events. Plus photo shoots are super expensive if you use a pro photographer. I did a friend's shoot on her iPhone pro and they turned out great haha but no I don't regret it at all.

No, I didn't do them and don't regret. Am not going to do them this pregnancy also.
I don't see the point. They are not the tupes of photos I plan on hangin on my walls, and I do a photoshoot to get wall art not just pics on a flash drive.

Never took them, and no regrets. I still love all the casual pics we took on our phones the last few weeks, especially the videos where I could see baby moving around from the outside of my big belly. Some documentation was important to me, but I never felt the need to go professional or glam, and that decision still feels good 2.5 years later.

Nope. Currently pregnant with #3, I’ve never taken maternity photos and I have no regrets.
