Packing hospital bag ??

When did you guys start packing hospital bag ? I forgot when I did it with my first baby lol. This second son I’m measuring a 1-1.5 week ahead. I’m going to be 27 weeks tomorrow.

I’ve been getting some things together here and there for about a month now. I want it 100% packed by March, if not before then!

I’ve had mine packed since 24 weeks! I did it late with my other 2 kids so I wanted to get a head start on stuff this time so when I get further along I don’t have much left to do to prepare

With my first I had it all packed except last min grab items at 34 weeks. This time I’m having a scheduled C-section so probably won’t pack until a week or two before the scheduled date.

Slippers, charger with a long cord or portable, shampoo/conditioner/brush/ face wash/ general toiletries, make up, two cute baby outfits, comfy clothes I feel somewhat pretty in :) last time I also packed my own pillow and blanket. My husband ended up using it! They had great stuff there for sleeping.

I didn't pack until we left for the hospital last time 😂 My goal with this one is sometime in March. I'm buying stuff earlier (i.e. dermaplast, peri pads, etc...).

I try to get everything ready by 34 weeks, but I dont pack too much, only clothes, toiletries, and going home outfit for me and baby.

There’s not too much to pack and most things I pack I use almost everyday haha but as far as a baby and you coming home outfit. You can set that aside whenever you want. I aim for 34/35 weeks bc I had my first unexpectedly at 36 weeks. My hospital gives me everything I need for my lady parts at and after the hospital so I don’t buy anything. They provide everything for the baby while the baby is in the hospital as well. We always wrap our baby and do skin to skin. So no clothes anyways until we put baby in the car seat to go home 😇
