Clomid vs Femara

Ladies who have taken both, did you have noticeable differences? My first doctor had me on Clomid and I knew where I was in my cycle everyday just based on symptoms. I knew when I was ovulating, knew when I was pregnant or not and etc. However, when I switched doctors (for other reasons) she wanted me to try Femara because she said it’s more successful. But I don’t feel like it’s working. I didn’t ovulate the first month (but I never actually ovulated first month on Clomid either, and did two separate attempts at Clomid) so she doubled it to 5 mg but I still don’t feel like I’m going to ovulate. My temps are all over the place, I have zero symptoms and I’m supposed to ovulate in 4 days! Normally my nipples would be killing me by now on the Clomid. I’m just so unsure….
