Periods in bootcamp?

I’m leaving in a few days for Navy RTC and I’ve watched a ton of videos and read a bunch of stuff out of curiosity but I’m starting to realize that I haven’t really heard anything about being on your period while in bootcamp. Anybody have advice/insight? Stories?

You’ll probably lose it. Many many women in my basic lost ours. If you don’t we always had to carry products in out camelbak in a ziplock baggie. Everywhere everyday lmao. I had my period the whole time. You get plenty of restroom breaks and things like that. I definitely suggest tampons, they should let you bring your own from home I brought my own. Also as for ibuprofen you won’t have any pain relief. Unless you go to sick call for it. And I definitely wouldn’t do that or recommend it either. I was army. But most are the same across the board.

I went to boot camp in 2010 for the Marine Corps. We had one recruit that carried stuff just in case but I never had a period very few female did. The ones that did had access to whatever they needed though.
