Can you be covid positive and still have a normal delivery?

I have a viral fever. I dint take a covid test, since the doc said its viral fever , but am just worried that during labour they test me and it turns put its covid the doctor will tell me to have a C section , am currently 39 weeks and attempting  a vbac.

You don't need a csection unless you are so unwell that you can not function yourself.

I don’t think it’ll come to that, but all hospitals are different. For my hospital if I test positive for Covid it doesn’t change how I deliver.

I’d go get tested so you know what you’re walking into.  If it’s not covid you’re worrying yourself for no reason.  It shouldn’t change how you deliver though.  Luckily you’re already 39 weeks so no need to worry about preterm delivery or anything.☺️
