Did you take Estradiol when you were doing IVF?

I’m about to start my 5th round of IVF. All my meds are the same but I see that my doctor added on Estradiol? What does that do? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

Yup- as a transdermal patch replaced 2x/week and then 4 two mg tablets each day.  Originally it was 3 two mg tabs orally, but my estrogen was increasing “assuringly”, so we added one more 2mg pill vaginally and it did the trick!

Yes I took it for both of my FET. Bothe were successful. It helps get your uterine lining ready for implantation.

It will help prepare your lining. I was on it during my second round instead of the injection. I had to take it orally and vaginally I believe until about 10 weeks. When I first started taking it, I had a bit of a dull headache that would come and go and also I think some crabbiness, but it went away once my body adjusted, no issues after that!
