So we haven’t really talked with our 2 year old about the fact that we’re having a baby. We told him back around Christmas time but I think it mostly went over his head. We’ve mentioned it a few times since but since it isn’t really obvious yet we just figured he’d pick up on it when I’m further along and we talk about it more. I’ve also been super nervous about this pregnancy for some reason so We are waiting to announce until we see the baby again in about a week when I’ll be 16 weeks.

Last night I was tucking him in and he was laying down, I was saying my last good nights from the door and all of a sudden he jumped up and said “mommy wait! Come here!” I went back over to his bed and he said “I forgot.” I said forgot what love? And he said “I forgot to give baby loves.” He then gave my belly a big squeeze, and then whispered to it, “I love you baby” and gave me a little kiss. 🥲🥲😭

You guys!! It was so so sweet! I was a puddle of mush before I got back out the door.
