Are ultrasounds bad to do often ? How often is it allowed to get an ultrasound.. 
my pregnancy is high risk and sometimes I just want to go get another even just 2 weeks after i got one done i dont know if it’s safe or not

I had an US at every apt at the MFM dr which was ever 4 weeks then every 2 then weekly.

In Oregon elective ultrasound shops are illegal because they’re no studies on if it’s too much or not. Which doesn’t make sense to me, I had the 2 normal ones, then they sent me to maternal fetal medicine and I had like 4 there, now they want me to do one every 6 weeks for growth scans.

Yes they are harmful, most countries only do them when medically necessary
