Menstrual cup for conception?

Has anybody tried using menstrual cup to keep semen inside and conceived. A friend gave this idea and i am unsure of it. Any success stories plz

Sperm gets to where it needs to go in seconds. No reason to keep seen inside you. Probably would cause an infection more than anything.

Everybody I have had says don't do it. The sperm that would make a healthy embryo get where the should be regardless and it can leads to bacterial or yeast infections which can potentially hinder conception.
