I had an ex friend request my on Facebook a year ago. He broke up with me but we ended on good terms and there was no ill will between us. So I accepted the friend request after my husband said it was okay.

His birthday was yesterday and I got a notification on Facebook so sent him a happy birthday. Today I’m looking at my Facebook memories and was reading a post from a year ago that my ex had commented on. So I click on his name to see if he did anything fun for his birthday. The screen comes up “this content is available”. He blocked me. Like what? Lol. I told my husband what happened and he told me that’s really weird but if he’s a flakey person then to see it as favor. So I guess I won’t be accepting friend requests from people that are in the past for a reason. I told my husband that it’s just very strange and he agreed. He says I’m too nice to people.
