Never used opk before, help?

I have a 36d cycle can I start testing right when I get off my period so I don't miss my day?

2 days after period 2 times a day between 11am and 8pm. And get a bbt thermometer to confirm ovulation and dpo. Opks don’t confirm ovulation or dpo

You can but it will be a waste. A 36 day cycle will have you ovulating around CD22-23. Start on CD15 if your worried about missing it or if you just want to see how your LH fluctuates before ovulation. If your really regular, you won’t miss it on those days.
