What do you and your SO mainly talk about?

What are normal conversations like?
I feel like I am going crazy 
He has PTSD and idk how to get out of loops
He gets upset if I can't listen to the same story all day long. 
He has followed me yelling at me for going to the bathroom. Upset because he opened the door while I was on the toilet and I was on my phone. 
Is this normal? 
Idk what to do. 
Idk if I am overreacting 
He keeps telling me there ARE OTHER GIRLS willing to listen to him and his stories.

Yuck. Sounds abusive to me. Maybe he should start telling his redundant stories to those other girls.

Those aren’t really typical PTSD reactions so if he’s telling you his abuse is “because of PTSD” then he’s blowing smoke up your dress. (I’m a veteran- tons of experience with PTSD). To me this just sounds like he’s being emotionally abusive.

This is manipulation and abuse and you should leave him. He needs to understand you have mental health needs and there are certain things you can’t handle. He also doesn’t need to be invading your privacy while you’re going to the bathroom. And for him to tell you that there are other girls that would do what you’re not doing that’s manipulation.

You’re his partner, NOT his therapist. The best thing you can do is encourage him to seek help. His behavior is not normal, and it’s impacting the relationship.

Plans for the weekend, what dinner will be the next few nights, if plans have changed and we need to trade daycare drop off/ pickup schedule, things we heard on podcasts that day, how to navigate situations that pop up at work that the other may have dealt with in the past, a new spot in town we want to check out, an idea for a getaway, how to fix the vacuum, where to hang a new poster. I mean, it’s endless really. We don’t get into loops, and it just sounds like yours is being an asshole. He needs therapy and you need to decide if you want to stay in an abusive situation or not. You aren’t obligated to listen to his issues over and over.

You should listen within reason but he need a therapist or group therapy to cope and deal. He also doesnt need to be threatening u about other women.
