When do I get convertible car seat?

Does anyone know when I should move my baby into a convertible car seat? She is 6 1/2 months old.

I already transitioned my son into one since he’s almost outgrown his infant car seat.

I'm thinking about the same thing. I hate carrying around my infant seat as it's super heavy with my little one in it. But I spent a lot of money on the infant seat so I feel guilty not using it for longer

I did because my son outgrew the height limit on the carrier. Check your car seat for limits.
