She's here - induced and born Feb. 3!

Gave birth to our daughter Gabrielle Alora at 8:43pm on Feb. 3, measuring 21 in. and weighing 7 lbs 4 oz. 🥰 My induction was scheduled for 4pm on the 3rd (Dr. doesn't allow patients to go past their due date) but she had me go to the hospital that morning since I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid. Turns out it wasn't that but they kept me anyway. Started Pitocin and got my epidural eventually, though it didn't provide relief as quickly as expected. Probably because I went from like 1.5 cm dilated to being complete in only a couple of hours! (Second baby) I didn't push for too long, maybe a half hour. We're doing well and doing lots of skin to skin since she has run on the cool side. I forgot how sweet newborn cuddles are, even in a sleep deprived state. 😜 Wishing the other February mamas a smooth and healthy delivery! 💗
