I am so confused lol

I was 9 hours late taking my birth control (I am on the combination pill) it was my last row of active pills .. I took it immediately when I remembered and took one more the following day which was when my active pills ended. I had sex the following week after my period (still on sugar pills) and started my new pack on time. was I covered since I was late on a pill so close to my sugar pills?
