Any tips?

Baby always spits up instantly the second I sit her up to burp her. Any tips to help prevent this? Thanks!

Take more breaks in between feeds, if you’re bottle feeding - do pace feeding

My daughter spits up a ton too. Lactation consultant recommended nursing her slightly reclined. So I hold her on football position and use a pillow to keep her butt below her head so she’s not fully horizontal. It has helped a little and I move her to burp her very slowly after she finishes nursing. I also hold her vertical for 10 minutes after feeding before I lay her down. She still spits up a lot, but these things have reduced the spit up a bit.

Make sure you get all the air out before she takes the bottle & that she’s not laying down completely. We had issues also with my second & bought the bottles with the bags so you can squeeze all the air out before feedings. It helped a lot.
