Bloody show!

Just had my midwife appt this afternoon and she checked me for the first time bc I’ll be 39 weeks tomorrow, I was 50% effaced but she wasn’t able to do a membrane sweep bc I was only 1cm dilated. But about 30 mins ago I got my bloody show! With my first I had to be induced bc of my BP so I’ve never gone into labor naturally, can anyone share their experience of how soon after bloody show they went into labor? I’m having some mild contractions but nothing intense or regular yet. Just got my 14 month old down to bed so I can be more aware of my body but I’m getting excited!
