My husband gets pissed that I will babysit my nephews. Little back story my brother and sister-in-law will ask me to baby sit every now and again for them they have 3 kids ages 16, 11, and almost 7, sometimes the babysitting job is overnight but recently if just ask if I can go to their house around 9-10pm and just sleep over just in case anything would go wrong and I say no problem after checking with my husband to make sure we wouldn’t have anything going on and 99.9% of the time we aren’t doing anything ever so about a month ago they asked me if I could come over around 9:30pm sleep over and I could leave around 8:30am the next morning as they would be home within an hour of me leaving (I live 8 min away from then only) so I did well the other week my sister-in-law asked if I could do it again as she wanted to surprise my brother with a night away at the casino for and early V-day as Saturday is his only day off, I told her I would have to check with my husband to make sure he wasn’t trying to do anything this weekend and he said no we weren’t doing anything since it’s super bowl weekend and he just wanted to relax so I said ok and told him what I was going ti do and he said ok. Well yesterday I reminded him what I was doing this weekend and right away he starts flipping out asking “Well when the fuck are they going to watch our kids” so I asked “When do we want to do something” and he said well if I knew we had a babysitter I would plan something, I told him all we h w to do if find someone to watch out 7 yr old so and our 14 yr old daughter can go to her friends on the weekend like she normally does but we also have a dog who can’t be left by himself as he has health issues and needs medication 2 times a day. So now all he’s being is a dick to me saying I do everything for everyone and no one will watch our kids for us to do something. (Side note when my mom was alive still she use to watch out kids over night 2 times a month so we could have a night to ourself and that was almost 3 yrs ago as she passes in early 2020).

The brother and sis-in-law have watched our dog over night for us before but that was way too much for them as that’s where we got our dog from cuz they think a dog who’s only 5lbs only needs to go out 3 times a day and then they lock him in the entry way rest of the day like they did when they were his owners.
