When is it too late to take progesterone

Just got blood work back from Feb 9 - hcg was 913 progesterone 9.77 I’m about 5 weeks 4 days is it too late to be start big progesterone? My dr isn’t very positive this will be a viable pregnancy.. I’m just at a loss right now I need some positive vibes .

I'd go ahead and start the progesterone. Tell him you want it. My obgyn told me a story about her first pregnancy and he level being an 8 her first blood draw. She said she was still in med school and knew those levels were not the best. She still had her baby and was healthy. She told me there's people who take progesterone and it works great and there's others where it isn't successful. It can't hurt to start it
