FTM baby shower @ how many weeks?

Question

What is the typical time frame for when shower is held / what do you recommend? 
I’m due August 11th. I don’t wanna be super big and uncomfy esp being summer time or risk being too close to my due date. I was thinking July 2nd but I just read somewhere suggesting late May-June (28-32wks).

We did ours a little over 2 months before my due date. That was slightly early, but I wanted to do it before it got cold.

31-33 weeks do you can enjoy -and still have time to prep and organize gifts after instead of rushing.

Can’t remember my last two pregnancies but this time around were having it when I’m 27 weeks(next Saturday) I am also high risk for preeclampsia so he could come early and I want the last two months to he absolutely stress free. Time flys.

I had mine at 30 weeks and thought that was perfect. I wasn't too big or uncomfortable and I had lots of energy too. But I was due at the end of January and wanted my shower before the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas). I would say anytime between 30 and 32 weeks is good. That way you can take your time getting everything washed and put away. Most first time moms go past their due date but not always. I was afraid if I had it any later (holidays aside) I would risk being too big or uncomfortable or too close to delivery

One of mine was at 38 weeks. 0/10 do not recommend. I was so uncomfortable 😂 Definitely suggest closer to 30 weeks.

I’ve had so many losses I want to push everything off to the last minute just in case, but I’m doing mine the third week of June and that’s on the later end. That’s 33 weeks for me. It gives you time to get all the stuff you didn’t get on your registry and set up the nursery.

I was 32 weeks for mine. It was outside due to covid and ended up being a horribly humid day. If it was any later in the pregnancy I wouldn’t have been able to do it. My brother in law kept bringing me ice buckets for my feet 🤣
