Im about 5W & 3 days based off of My LMP i had my first scan today and we seen nothing 😞 is it possible its a chemical ? My Ob was hesitant on doing one because he said the chance of seeing anything was slim i have another scan in 9 days for him to confirm he said my uterus line is thickening and my " insides " definitely point to pregnant has this ever happened to anyone with a good outcome im just a little stressed out 💔

My first pregnancy we did my first ultrasound at 7weeks because before that you can’t see anything. Now I’m 4w pregnant and I’m schedule to do an ultrasound in 3 weeks so I will be 7 to 8 weeks.

My doctor told me that I can get my first ultrasound at 6 weeks as she said before then we won’t see much. I’m currently 5 weeks 4 days and I’ll be getting my 6 week scan at 6 weeks 6 days due to mine and my husbands schedules! Don’t stress as that’s the worst thing you can do. Get blood tests done to find the hormone level then get that scan in 9 days time. Good luck

Don't feel so down just yet! It's super early and it's always hard to pinpoint exactly how far you might be this early on because of the possibility of a delay in the time frame from fertilization and implantation. You could be like a week earlier than you think because of that. A lot of Drs won't even do ultrasounds that early just because you won't see much and that can cause unnecessary stress for mother. Hang in there! There's still a lot of hope for you ❤ wait for your blood tests and that next ultrasound
