Social security number

My LO father wants his ssn to file his taxes. The only thing is, He hasn't taken care of him at all. He lives in a different region of the US from where me and my LO live. He says he wants to open a trust account but right now financially he's struggling. He just wants the extra money. I've been the one busting my ass for my child while he lives a care free life across the country. He yelled at me to give him my LO ssn but if he isn't taking care of his kid why would I give out something so important.. someone give me advice. I've already filed my taxes with my LO numbers but he wants to open accounts which bothers me a lot. Also I plan on taking him to court and I don't want them to say that because he filed he's taken care of him. Am I just being paranoid or should I give it to him?
