Pregnant and Spouse not so Happy?

This pregnancy was not expected. I took plan B the next day after having unprotected sex with husband and managed to still get pregnant. Although we weren’t ready for another baby, abortion was NOT an option. 
Keep in mind this is going to be our 5th baby 😆😱 my oldest is 17, then 15, then 11, and my baby girl 3 who was also an OMG is this forreal….. and now she will have a sibling 🥳
I don’t know ladies… I’m excited feel sad he’s not ok with me being pregnant. He’s like we need to talk about this pregnancy…. I’m like there’s nothing to talk about. I told him, (it’s my decision, my body, and I will have this baby with or without you). I have a career, a Buisness and am fully capable of raising this baby. 
Is anyone else going through something similiar? My friend said her husband was the same way and it took a while for him to accept the fact she was having a baby. I just want to be happy during my pregnancy.

He knows how it works, having unprotected sex then being upset that you're pregnant is shitty of him.  He'll just have to get over it.

If it was unexpected you can't necessarily blame him for not being excited out of the gate. He's allowed to have his feelings on the matter. You are also correct that you get to make the final decision and if you want the baby you should absolutely keep it. Your friend is also right in the sense your husband may need time to come around to the idea and that's okay. Be excited about your pregnsncy! You don't need your husband to be excited for you to be excited. He will likely come around in time. If not, it seems like you will do just fine without him. Give him some time and talk to him when he wants to talk. You don't have to agree about abortion but letting him speak his feelings without being dismissed should be encouraged. He may just need to talk it out in order to come around. Don't dismiss his feelings just yet. You wouldn't want him to do that to you

I would validate his feelings eg yes it was unexpected, yes it feels like starting all over, yes our travel plans may have to wait, youre so right...but still be happy on your end. If he sees you 'get it' regarding his perspective, yet youre still carrying on, he may come around easier.

He needs to learn to get over it. He had every part of that conception as you did. He knows how babies are made after making 4 lol. If he’s done and not open to anymore pregnancies, he can wear a condom or get a vasectomy.

My husband and I started trying right after we got married and got pregnant right away. I was very excited as I had been ready to have his baby for a couple years now lol. Just had to wait for him to put a ring on it and also feel ready. Tbh he probably took the entire first trimester and a little of the second to finally start being excited about baby. He wasn't upset I was pregnant and he didn't ask for a termination or anything like that, but he just didn't seem to want to talk about baby at all. He was so scared out of his wits that he was going to be a dad, he felt all this extra responsibility weighing on him that I never intentionally put there. He felt like he had to pick up extra hours at work and do all these chores around the house for me. We're fine financially, we have good careers, I'm still perfectly able to do laundry and stuff around the house. But it took him time to see that and now that I'm 18 weeks he's finally getting excited about it and he talks to the baby, feels my tummy, and wants to start our registry. Maybe give him some time. He may be going through stuff he doesn't know how to communicate to you, he may be putting a lot of pressure on himself that is unrealistic. I hope it all works out for you. And congratulations!
