Fussy from 12:00-3:00 am

I got the night shift (as Is customary for the papabear) I know I’m supposed to be sleeping when he sleeps, but during that time he’s so fussy that even if I manage to get him to sleep he’s so loud It makes me anxious and I can’t sleep or think. Any other dads feel this? I want to stay awake during those times and just wait for him, but that makes me sleep deprived to the point wifey has to take care of him first half of the day and it’s takin a toll on us.
