Preterm contractions

My doctor is currently on vacation but last night I went to the hospital for threatened preterm labor. Having contractions 1.5 minutes apart. It took 2 doses of medicine to slow them down. But they haven’t stopped. Now they’re around 10 minutes apart. I’m only 26 weeks! I followed up with a doctor today (not my ob) and he was so rude and told me that it’s fine if I have preterm contractions because my cervix is long enough.. right now it’s 3.5 cm which is good but I don’t understand why he’s not wanting or caring about stopping the contractions. The doctor last night at the hospital was very concerned and her only focus was stopping the contractions.

Even though they are more spaced out today they are more painful and I told the doctor I saw today but he didn’t care.
