She’s here!

I went in at 35w5d for a blood pressure check and ended up at the PET unit. Next day I was induced and the following day I was in full blown labor. At 10cm I was ready to push, the doctor reached in to check and baby girl was breach, face down so they could feel her face. I got rushed to the operating room for an emergency c section and ended up holding her in for 30 whole min because someone else had a placental abruption so all nurses and doctors had to leave the room to do that first. At 9:41 Carlisle Ophelia was born. 17 inches, 4.3lbs and purple. They got her breathing and she spent the past week in the nicu but came home last night!

I am so proud of my strong little girl. She’s doing so well. W
