Could mean you’re ovulating 
I always get a cramp on one side the day I ovulate which is how I know when I’ve actually ovulated

This happens to me every month.  It can be normal and should feel like a mild cramp.  However if it's too painful could be a sign of build of cyst.  If it happens the same time every month and it's the pain can go away with some pain reliever shouldn't be anything to worry about
