What would you do ?
So I'm a child care worker and I've been off work for 6 months, I started looking for a job and but now the covid cases are soaring where I am and it's just the beginning. I've been seeing lots of childcare centres getting the cases and stuff and I know so many ppl with covid now. Anyhow, i got offered a job at a centre. I have a child who i would have to come with me to work. She also really wants to socialise with other children. My partner has lots of health problems so he is worried about catching it.
I really need to make some money now I've gotten into a bit of debt and yeah funds r running out . I might be able to get a job working for his mum, which means I would only have contact with his mum. She is also high risk. So this job is working from her home.
Do I decline the job offer at the centre and try to work for his mum instead ? I'm not sure how much I'll get paid yet, it won't be as much as if I would work at a centre.
I do worry about my young child catching covid too. I also worry what happens with my teacher registration if I don't work for a while.
Just need some other people opinion
Thank u
