I am from Poland living in NYC right now for university. My parents are near the border helping Ukrainians. There is restaurants offering food, places offering necessities, amd places offering shelter if people don't have places to go. So far no cap on # and no passports, or anything needed and letting animals through also. Hearing Russia has hit an orphanage, oncology ward, and a kindergarten all I can say is fuck the Russian government, anyone supporting the actions in Ukraine, and anyone trying to justify it or twist it to make it fit you own national narrative. I am proud of my homeland and my fellow Poles. I fear for Europe but Poland specifically as I fear putin coming after Poland for hwling Ukraine...but I could care less. They are our brothers and sister right now and I will say again fuck anyone who supports or justifies this in any way.
