Is this weird or am I overreacting?
Is it weird for grandparents to use the bathroom in front of your kid, if they’re babysitting them alone(or semi alone)?
For context, my daughter is almost 2 and my dad was watching her while I was finishing something up with my mother(I needed my daughter out of the way since she kept messing with my equipment while I was doing my mom’s nails). I finished up and went to go find my daughter and she walked out of the bathroom space(she was messing with the scale in front of the toilet) and my dad was still finishing up on the toilet. (He said she didn’t see anything and he had to use it). It scared me and I told my mom what happened, away from where my dad could hear. She didn’t think much of it since she uses the bathroom in front of my daughter too since she needs to watch her and make sure she doesn’t mess with something around the house and hurt herself. Ultimately, I think I hurt my dad because, obviously, who would want to be accused of anything, but I also know that as a first-time-mom, I can’t stand the thought of her being put in a position of abuse… I’m sorry if this is in the wrong group, If it is just move/delete it, I guess 😕
