Nursing moms?

I need some help from some moms who are still nursing at 8 months or have with past babies. We have tried to get the little nugget to take a bottle but he refuses. I knew I missed my chance after he was about 4 months old 😅 so we have still be nursing while also introducing solids and BLW. Any advice on how you got your babe to take a bottle this late in the game?

Mines struggling with that too but one thing we found helpful was making sure the nipple was the right flow for my babies intake. And we use the silicone style bottles so she can squeeze it (like she does the boob 😆)

Drinking out of a cup is the main thing that works for my baby. He will drink anything but formula from a cup. He doesn't take anything but water out of a bottle. If he is sleepy enough, he will rarely take a bit of formula. EBM is difficult to get him to take out of a bottle too unless he becomes really hungry.

You can try a cup! My third (baby I’m currently nursing) loves drinking out of a cup! My second refused a bottle and my first didn’t care how he got milk just as long as he got it.

We only started at 7 months. We gave him the nippel of the bottle to play around and he immediately used it as a pacifier. After a few mins (while setting up the bottle with the pumped milk), his dad gave him the bottle and he drank. Eye contact, holding him close, bottle at nipple height helps :D when he doesn't want to drink, we pretend to steal the milk from the other side of the bottle and it works. Or changing sides!
Did you try different nipples? Maybe similar ones to the pacifier your baby is using (if they use any)?
