OPK question
Hello all,
Just for the heck of it I bought some opk tests from Modern Fertility. The pamphlet that came with it says to test in the afternoon or twice daily when you think you're ovulating.
I tested a few days before and the day of suspected ovulation when the glow app said my peak/highest fertility days were.
When I tested, the opk read anywhere between 0 to 10. 10 reading two days before my suspected ovulation date the 5 to 0 one day before suspected ovulation and then 1 on day of. I test twice daily but I tested later in my day because my work schedule is 230-11 so I usually don't wake up until 1030a the days I go to PT and then about 12p the days I don't. I understand the number has to be in the 50s to 60s to detect an LH Surge and that this does not confirm actual ovulation so I'm either thinking that the app is inaccurate for me or I was testing at the wrong time of the day.
So, should I just test when I wake up and when I get home from work since my schedule is so eff'd up?
What should I do? I'm just so discouraged because going into this I was already insecure about my fertility due to family history but my gynecologist just seemed to think everything would be ok and that I didn't need to be tested for hormones.
