Hi I got pregnant while still on my medication. I know that it's not safe please no negative comments about this part. I don't want to feel like crap withdrawing from these meds. My question is I have a rare facial nerve condition and take gabapentin to help manage it. One of my doctors already told me I can't smoke weed anymore for pain so I feel the government like child welfare would rather me stay on medication that is proven harmful than smoke a herb from the ground. I'm just wondering if anyone has taken anything like gabapentin and their baby is ok?? How does your doctor or state feel about smoking. I'm so confused how they can actually think that this baby will make it if I don't have treatment. I won't even be able to eat or talk. I would be trying to survive on liquid.
