Late ovulation??

Ladies i need some insight! …So little back story my husband and i have been TTC baby #2 for about 8 months we had a MC in December and January my period came normally right on time per usual… i started ovulation testing for the first time and about 4 days late after my period and found my “peak” on cd 17 & i was supposed to get my period February 24th …well AF never came and all my HCG tests were negative … i kept ovulation testing just to see what it said and cd36 i got a very high Lh test (higher then i did on cd17).. and my app said i peaked / ovulated (so we BD just incase)…And then it went back down as it’s supposed to. Still no AF ..and I’m wondering is this my body retrying to ovulate as a failed attempt on cd 17?? Anybody ever have this and end up pregnant? TIA!! 🤗
