Is the Sneak Peek test accurate?

I am highly considering buying the sneak peek test. I hear great things about it but I’m scared that the results may not be accurate. Has anyone used sneak-peek to find out the gender of your little ones and it be accurate?!

Everyone on here that gets it always says “so excited to get confirmation at the ultrasound” so even if it’s accurate people don’t announce or fully believe until the ultrasound. So it doesn’t sound like it’s worth the money to me if you get a result you can’t fully trust!

The test itself is very accurate. False results are normally due to user error. The test specifically looks for the presence of male DNA in the blood. So if you don’t clean surfaces, your hands, etc. well enough prior to drawing blood, there’s a chance it could get contaminated with the DNA of your husband/spouse. As long as you are careful and follow the instructions precisely, it should be accurate.

I'm in a Sneak Peak FB group. I have been obsessed with gathering results. I went on Amazon and collected data from the at-home lancet test reviews. Based on the reviews, there was about an 80% accuracy on tests that actually yielded results. Meaning people actually heard back from the company with the results email and left a positive, accurate review.

With my daughter it was correct. This time it told me a girl again but my NIPT said boy. I took it at the appropriate time, sanitized well and used the snap test so everything was sterile. My drs office has now told me I should wait and get confirmation at my anatomy scan since I’ve had 2 different results.

It was accurate for me during my last pregnancy and on this one. This time around I had it done at 8 weeks and we just confirmed with our genetic testing that it will be another boy.
