Return of period?

So I am a little confused. I am 13mpp and have been breastfeeding the entire time. I never got my period after having my baby but I had breakthrough bleeding while I was on birth control for a few months. After I stopped birth control I stopped bleeding monthly and that was around august last year. We recently started breastfeeding less during the day and barely at night. I had some cramping then brown spotting Sunday then two days of bright pink heavy spotting(not enough for a full pad but a panty liner so not a light flow) then nothing the past two days. Is this my period? Negative pregnancy test and negative ovulation test. I did take some maca herb drops to try to regulate my hormones but only two doses. Do you think that caused the bleeding?
