Medical careers?

I’ve grown up chronically Sick and even had cancer so I have a lot of medical knowledge (western and eastern medicine). I would like to go into a medical career just because I enjoy it, very knowledgeable, and can relate to most people with all my conditions. Any suggestions? Not interested in being a nurse or a dr however.

Optometrist - even if it sounds like it's just about the eyes you learn about the whole body as in biology/pathology/medications and have plenty of time to talk and help your patients.

Are you looking for something that you can do without schooling or are you willing to go to school for a bit? Without schooling you can't really do anything actually medical. You could be a medical coder or receptionist maybe but kegally you can't give any medical advice, knowledge, or anything. You have to pass it to someone actually medically trained. You could become a cna or med aide in a nursing/assisted living facility with not too much training. Good chance it won't be people who had what you had  but still medical and helping people. Yoi could become a emt also with training still, buy less than like other careers. There are support groups or that kind of thing and some will require like a psychology degree or something like that but not all. It just depends on what you want to do but to do anything where you could treat/give medical advice you're gonna need a fair bit of schooling.

Could you work for an insurance company? Or a corporate side of a hospital-admin?
Counseling would require a formal education and degree like nursing would.

If you don’t want to be a nurse, what about a home health aide, or working with the elderly as a CNA which is certified medical assistant, or you could work in the front office for a doctors office, you could do medical billing or you could make the appointments and do consultations, there’s a program for medical office assistant, you have options it’s not just Dr. or nurse, you could also go into radiography, you could go into different fields physical therapy etc.￼
